# Cantonese Pinyin

> Professional Cantonese Jyutping learning and conversion platform with free browser-based tools for romanization, a Cantonese voice player, dictionary lookup, syllable charts, IPA conversion, and teaching guides.

Cantonese Pinyin (cantonesepinyin.com) helps learners, teachers, voice actors, and linguists work with standard Cantonese pronunciation. All conversion and lookup runs entirely in the browser—no text is sent to servers. The site uses the Jyutping romanization system developed by the Linguistic Society of Hong Kong (LSHK, 1993), with tone numbers 1–6 marking the six pitch values of Cantonese.

Available in four languages: Traditional Chinese (zh-HK, default), Simplified Chinese (zh-CN), English, and Japanese. Non-default locales use URL prefixes (`/en/`, `/zh-CN/`, `/ja/`).
